Spanish

Delaney comes to TNS with experience as a Spanish teacher and a school counselor. Born and raised in Nashville, she graduated from Hendrix College in Arkansas with a dual bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Spanish Language and Literature. She started teaching in Atlanta with Teach for America and then earned her master’s degree and educational specialist degree in school counseling from the University of West Georgia. For several years, Delaney worked as a school counselor with primarily Spanish-speaking students and families. She is so excited to be back in the classroom teaching grammatical Spanish and AP Spanish at TNS. Outside of school, Delaney enjoys spending time with her wife, Lauren, and their daughter, Layla, and she also likes making music with her band, the Crooked Roots.
