Anna Pless Peel
Director of College Counseling
Anna developed a love for college counseling when she started the process herself in high school. A native of Atlanta, she was in the first graduating class at Atlanta Girls’ School. Anna graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she received a B.S. in Counseling and Studio Art. Following graduation she taught English and History at a boarding school, Schloss Neubeuern, near Munich, Germany. When she returned to the United States, Anna worked in admissions for her alma mater.
She then moved to New York, where she started a college counseling program from the ground up at a math and science high school in Brooklyn, serving over 400 students each year. Anna moved back to her hometown and joined TNS in 2019. She has a certificate in College Advising from Columbia Teachers College, and she is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who serves on the Board of Directors of SACAC. Anna received her MS in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University. She is also an NCC (Nationally Certified Counselor).
In her free time she and her husband Brett and daughters Josephine and Margit love to travel, hike and be outdoors!
