Yo! I’m Eric Thompson, but most people know me as E.T. I’m a musician, audio engineer, backline specialist, and stage manager. I started playing drums at 15 and later earned a BA in Audio Production & Engineering from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Not long after, I joined the Zac Brown Band and spent ten years on tour, working my way from intern to stage manager and backline tech while supporting shows across the U.S. and internationally.

Since 2019, I’ve focused on live audio work in Atlanta, launched a DIY backline repair business, produced a podcast, composed new music, and taught at SAE. When I’m not working, I’m with my wife and son, tinkering with electronics, cooking, tending to our growing plant collection, and hanging out with our two ridiculous (and beloved) cats.
