Intro to Virtual Reality
Have you ever wanted to step inside of your computer? These days you can! Virtual Reality is
the future of entertainment, gaming, and more. During our 12 week course, students will learn
hands on about real world applications for the exciting new fields of Extended and Virtual
Reality. Students will work together to create an interactive virtual world using 360 video, 3D
Modeling, and the Unity game engine.
Artist Life Vision – 360 Imagery creates immersive digital experiences that transcend the boundaries between reality and imagination. Our team of XR artists create Virtual and Augmented Reality Experiences that educate, entertain, and fascinate, allowing you to experience new interactive worlds previously only available to the imagination. We want to help expand the digital metaverse through the technology and new media storytelling.

Instructor
Kris Pilcher is a technology and installation artist with a background in street art and theatrical design. Kris’ work has been exhibited throughout Atlanta and beyond. Kris is co-founder of Downtown Players Club, a performance arts incubator, as well as the founder of Dream Collection Agency, a virtual reality based research project. His work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibits, including Elevate Atlanta, Field Experiment Public Art Program, Forecast Public Art Review, The World Youth Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, Google VR, and Redbull TV. Kris was also recognized by the City of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs with The Emerging Artist Award in the field of Visual Arts.Other extensions of Kris’ work include curatorial programs, student education, and creative placemaking initiatives throughout Atlanta.
