Robotics

Love to tinker, build, design, program, game? This program is for you! Hands on and fast moving, you will learn a lot while also have a ton of fun. This semester, students will be using Vex robotics kits to solve exciting problems through technology.

Instructor 

Daniel Pasker Math and ScienceDaniel is an experienced and passionate robotics coach. He has taught physics and mathematics for the past seven years. Most recently, he was a facilitator/teacher at Nea Community Learning Center in Alameda, California. Daniel has been recognized for his innovation in teaching through grants and awards including the Engineers’ Alliance for the Arts 2016 Teacher of the Year. He also has engineering and management experience working ten years in glass container manufacturing. Daniel earned a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Iowa State University and a M.A.T. in Urban Education and Social Justice from the University of San Francisco.
