This is a video I made for Projects class about rugby. This was one of my best projects I have ever done, so I decided to submit it for my Exhibition so more people could see my work. Rugby has really changed my life; it helps me relieve stress, calm my mind, and take a mental break. It also could take me very far in life – colleges in America are still new to rugby and by the time I graduate, I would have already had 6+ years of experience, putting me ahead of other people already. It’s still very small in America, so I decided to do this project to get the sport out there so more people might join and grow the sport even more. My video just goes over very basic passes: a spin pass, a pop pass, and a switch.
During this journey, I learned a lot about myself and how to make good quality work. I learned how to make an instructional video and teach people things. I also learned how to do voice-overs for videos, speaking in a cheerful voice so it’s not dry and boring. Usually, I sound very monotone and dry when I speak.
