Mario Stephens

Mario is a native of Atlanta and proud “Grady Baby.” Mario comes to TNS from his alma mater Morehouse College where he taught English courses in world literature, composition, and argumentation. As a writing consultant, he continues to assist students and professionals in fine-tuning their projects. A graduate of Emory’s Candler School of Theology, he has worked in churches and with community organizations.

In his role as a humanities teacher at TNS, Mario engages students in critical discussion of historical facts and figures, highlighting the experiences of historically marginalized and underrepresented groups.
