ABOUT

In our film class, our big project of the year was to create a superhero film using the whole film writing process – making storyboards, scripting dialogue, and filming shots – and then applying all of that to greenscreen. We used greenscreen since it would allow us to not only add more cool effects and backgrounds, but also so we could make a more congruous film that looked visually appealing while still remaining socially distant. Over the course of the project, we had to really refine our group work and time management skills by trying to stick to a schedule. We also had to coordinate our shots despite using different greenscreens, cameras, and buildings, and still have the project complete. Overall the process of creating it was filled with bumps and inconveniences, but it was still a great learning opportunity and I’m really proud of the end result: The Spice Boys: a Superhero Project.
