My name is Ana Hoeferle. I am a Freshman and this is my first year at TNS.
I started my “journey” baking cakes a couple of months ago, just out of boredom to be honest. It started during this whole COVID-19 Outbreak, but also for my projects class. I was bored, and I wanted to bake my first Chocolate Raspberry Cake. I was told I did a good job by my family, but I didn’t believe that, so I tried and tried until I was satisfied, which, to this day, I am not. But practice makes progress! And I have most definitely practiced. I made a few Chocolate Raspberry Cakes, just because that was the cake I was going to bake for this project. But I have baked other, fruity, harvest-y cakes. Throughout this journey, I have not only found something that keeps me from being bored but also something I really enjoy. So I’m really thankful that here at TNS, there are project classes that can really show your creative side, and show what you could possibly pursue at a later time.
