Aline Mello is a Brazilian immigrant, writer, and educator. She grew up in Georgia, attending Oglethorpe University where she studied English and Spanish literature. She’s always loved and volunteered in the educational field, working with students on their writing and preparing them for college. Aline worked as a magazine editor for almost ten years before she and her little dog Molly moved to Ohio and attained their Master’s in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University. When she’s not spending time with family and friends, she’s listening to an audiobook and doing some sort of fiber arts and crafts. Her first poetry collection, More Salt than Diamond, was published in 2022 by Andrews McMeel.
