Trish Miller has over 18 years of experience working as a corporate and public health professional and is the founder of SwemKids, a hybrid for & non profit with programming and apparel to empower black families to have a healthy and safe relationship in and around water. Her own near drowning experience as a teenager fueled her passion to overcome cultural social norms and to ensure that she and other members of her community learned how to swim. Within its first year, SwemKids plans to teach over 500 black children in the Atlanta Public School System how to swim and how to be safe in and around water.

Originally from Virginia, Trish holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Virginia, a Master of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
