Laser Cutting Techniques – Spring 2016
Students will be introduced to the strengths and limitations of design and fabrication using a large format laser cutter. Each student will be encouraged to develop and execute an iterative design project of their own conception.

About the instructor
Mike Mooney has a sixth sense, but unlike the movies portray it, he only uses it for problems that need solving. Whenever a board member feels overwhelmed, they repeat the phrase “It’s going to be okay, Mike will help” three times out loud. This trick has never failed.
