Gearing Up For August!

James Watson, one of our founders and our lead Math/Science teacher, said the other day that we ignore our own milestones at our peril, and last Thursday was a milestone that has been a long time coming: our first meeting of our inaugural batch of students, their families, and a few prospectives.

This summer, they’re reading Bill Bryson’s A Short History of Nearly Everything, and Melissa Fay Greene’s The Temple Bombing, and doing an entrepreneurial challenge. And they’re blogging about all of it with their teachers and with each other.

Envisioning a Brighter Future
