A native Spanish speaker, Sarita has taught a variety of courses in diverse environments—from university classrooms to the Guatemalan jungle. She has taught at Emory University and served as a research fellow at UPenn’s Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS). At CSIS, Sarita serves as Director of Operations for Social Impact Houses, which are live-in accelerators for young people who have ideas to change the world. Previously, Sarita was a fellow at Emory University’s Center for Community Partnerships, where she partnered with public and private businesses and organizations across Atlanta. Sarita has a BA in American Studies from the College of William and Mary and an MA in History from Emory University.
