Mary Reid comes to TNS with a background in progressive and experiential education, from working at a full-scholarship boarding school in the Rocky Mountains to teaching and leading a high school semester program traveling through southern Africa. Specializing in English and history, she has also taught outdoor education, precalculus, and independent life skills, among other subjects. Most recently, she served as a teacher, advisor, and member of the Board of Trustees at Francis W. Parker Essential Charter School in Devens, Massachusetts. Mary Reid earned a B.A. in English from Princeton University and an M.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
