Teacher? Artist? Entrepreneur? Government official? Maker? Come join the “Community Engaged Learning” movement!

We’re always looking for passionate individuals who want to work closely with young people.

If you’re interested in participating in the innovative project-based learning that we’re doing at The New School, whether as a teacher, a community partner, a mentor, a speaker, or in some role we haven’t yet imagined, contact us directly.

We have worked with over 250 community partners in the last three years – inspiring individuals like Michelle Nunn (CEO, CARE USA), Steven Yeun (actor from the Walking Dead), Steve Carse (King of Pops founder), Nicole Jones (Director of Innovation, Delta Airlines), Kathryn Petralia (Co-founder, Kabbage), and Anis Mojgani (World Cup Poetry Slam champion).

Faculty and Staff Openings

Over our first three years we have added PT and FT teachers in all disciplines–Humanities, Science, Math, Spanish and Art. We actively invite conversations with progressive, creative, dedicated teachers in all subjects areas. Please send your resume and letter of interest to careers@tnsatlanta.org .

In 2018-19 we will have the following additional openings:

Director of Community Engaged Learning (FT)
The Director will be entirely focused on supporting our community engaged learning curriculum. Working in concert with TNS teachers–whether in projects or academic classes, the Director of CEL will research and coordinate opportunities for city-based learning. The right candidate will have a strong network of connections across multiple professional sectors in Atlanta (business, non-profit, arts, education) as well as the ability to develop new relationships and manage the logistics of multiple, simultaneous projects.
